The Creighton baseball team kept their hopes alive on Sunday afternoon defeating New Mexico to setup a rematch with UCLA on Sunday night. Although the Bluejays came up short against the Bruins, it was still an amazing experience and a special opportunity to get a chance to be in the NCAA Tournament.
Creighton eliminated both San Diego and New Mexico in the process. With the wins, Creighton Athletics set a record with Men’s Soccer, Men’s Basketball and Baseball all getting wins in the NCAA Tournament in the same year for the first time.
