The Creighton men’s basketball team played the final Big East regular season game after a day full of upsets preceding them. However, the Bluejays did not let a hot DePaul team take down their momentum and pulled away with a 91-78 win over the Blue Demons on Saturday night.
Mitch Ballock was perfect from the field in the first half, and he was almost perfect in the second half breaking a Creighton record of three-pointers in a game, with 11, and scored a career high 39 points in the victory. Martin Krampelj put in 23 points and 10 rebounds and Marcus Zegarowski dished out 10 assists as the Bluejays battled to victory. They earned themselves the #5 seed in the Big East tournament and will take on Xavier on Thursday, at 2:30 p.m.
