Both teams placed runners in the top 30 of their respective fields. Junior Chris Culhane finished 27th among 295 runners on the men’s side. And the women were led by two freshmen: Slaine Kelly finished 16th and Hannah Krumreich placed 25th out of 211 harriers.
Slaine’s father, John Kelly, traveled to Lincoln for the meet. Aside from shooting photography for the Boston Globe and Associated Press, he has been a freelance photographer for Runner’s World for almost 20 years. He took the following shots at the race and shared them with WBR. Enjoy!
