The new home of Creighton Bluejays baseball, and the future cornerstone of Omaha’s commitment to the College World Series, opened for business Tuesday night. TD Ameritrade Park garnered rave reviews from media and fans alike.
But on the field, Tuesday’s game at TD Ameritrade Park proved frustrating and forgettable for Ed Servais and the Creighton Bluejays. The Nebraska Huskers capitalized on three CU errors, and potential All-Valley outfielder Trever Adams struck out with the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth inning en route to a 2-1 Creighton loss.
