Photo Gallery: Creighton Men’s Soccer Falls to St. John’s

The Creighton men’s soccer team received some good news to start the evening.  Preseason All Big East goalie, Paul Kruse, returned to the lineup on Saturday night.  However, the Bluejays needed a little more offense as Creighton fell 2-0 to St. John’s at Morrison Stadium.

St. John’s got on board in the 26th minute thanks to some errant handling in the back line, which resulted in the goal.  Fortunately the Red Storm was held from scoring again late in the first half with the Jays down 1-0 at the break.

Creighton had a a few different chances early in the second half to score, but could not convert.  Eventually in the 74th minute, St. John’s scored their second goal of the match off a deflection and essentially put the game away, allowing them to move to 5-0-0 in conference play.  The Bluejays fall to 2-3-0
