It is the early of September, and while most people are talking about football, soccer, and volleyball, quietly other sports are playing games as well going a bit under the radar. One of those is the Creighton softball team as they opened up their fall schedule of eight games that started on Sunday and runs through the end of the month at the CU Sports Complex.
With the beautiful weather we are now experiencing in Omaha, it is a great opportunity to get a little work in the fall to better prepare for next spring. On Sunday, the softball team took on South Dakota and Iowa Western Community College. WBR was there with photographer Mike Spomer taking some great actions photos of the game against South Dakota.
