Photo Gallery: Creighton Women’s Basketball Digs Deep for Win Over Xavier

The Creighton women’s basketball team had their second straight game with out Jaylyn Agnew on the court on Friday night at DJ Sokol Arena. They came back from first half shooting woes to down Xavier 62-55.

Carly Bachelor came off the bench for the Bluejays to get career highs in points (17), rebounds (10), and steals (3) in the victory. Temi Carda also scored 26 points in the win.  While the rest of the team struggled from the field, it was Carda who kept the Jays in the game throughout the contest.  Bachelor took over the game with her own 6-0 run to put the Jays up 58-53 and allowed the Jays to hold on to victory.

Agnew was out for the second straight game due to illness, while Tatum Rembao made her return for the first time since December 14th and sealed the game with free throws.

WBR photographer Ken Juszyk was at the game to capture photos.  Enjoy the slideshow gallery below and then head over to the WBR Photo Store to get your favorite prints.
