The Creighton women’s basketball team took on Georgetown at DJ Sokol Arena on Sunday afternoon. After an even first quarter, the Hoyas grabbed themselves a double-digit halftime lead and cruised to the 57-44 victory over the Bluejays.
Sydney Lamberty led the Bluejays with 14 points, but shot only 3-of-12 from the field. The starters as a whole shot 12-of-45 as the Georgetown defense caused the Bluejays to struggle from the field shooting 25.4% for the game.
