More than 2,000 people packed into D.J. Sokol Arena Wednesday night to watch Creighton host Nebraska. The Bluejays couldn’t pull off a late-game rally, falling to the Huskers 63-55.
And Doug McDermott isn’t the only freshman Creighton hoopster quickly making a name for himself. Carli Tritz, a newcomer from Sioux City, Iowa, scored a career-high 21 points to lead CU in the loss. Through 7 games, Tritz is the team’s second leading scorer (11 ppg).
Adam Streur was there to document the action via digital photos. Enjoy!
