Wichita State (5-2) vs. Nicholls State (4-2)

Many Valley fans were under the impression that Wichita State was head and shoulders above the rest of the teams in the conference this season. Well, we all received a bit of reality when the Shockers were absolutely whipped by the Aztecs of SDSU, 83-69. SDSU remained undefeated as the Shockers fell to 5-2 on the year.
With Nicholls State coming to town tonight, this should be a great game for the Shockers to bounce back and get back on track. Although Nicholls State is used to playing some tough competition, this should be an easy one for the Shockers. However, the Colonels did pull of a win over LSU earlier in the season, their first win over the Tigers in school history.
