The Creighton women’s soccer team continued their growth on Sunday getting themselves a 2-0 win over Villanova. The Bluejays are sitting third in the Big East conference standings and are having one of their best seasons in recent history.
The Bluejays jumped out to the 1-0 lead on Azumi Manriki’s goal at the 13:08 mark. In the second half, Creighton added on another goal just past the 58th minute from Lara Kazandjian. Meanwhile, goalie Lisa Hall had a clean sheet and the Creighton defense kept things away from their goal throughout.
