More than 2,000 Creighton fans packed into the Morrison Stadium grandstand to watch the Bluejays score two second-half goals en route to a 2-1 comeback win against Evansville Saturday night.
Ethan Finlay, the Missouri Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week, found the back of the net off a missed shot by Seth Sinovic to forge a 1-1 tie against the Purple Aces. Jeff Thayer then recorded his first goal of the season to give the Bluejays a toughly contested 2-1 victory.
