(Premium Podcast) Bluejay Beat Wrap-up: #21 Creighton 80,BYU 83

The Creighton men’s basketball team suffered their fourth straight loss on Saturday night.  The Bluejays lost to BYU 83-80 in a game that was back and forth for most of the game until BYU took a double-digit lead with under four minutes to go.  The Bluejays battled back with some stout defense and took the lead 80-79 with under 30 seconds to go.  However, the Jays were disastrous on the offensive boards and allowed BYU to score the go ahead , off another offensive rebound, with12 seconds to go.  The Jays missed their look at the end and it is back to the drawing board quickly before Arizona St. on Monday, also in Las Vegas.

The Bluejays were without Ryan Kalkbrenner to a non-covid illness and coach McDermott used a lot of different lineups to try and make up for his absence. McDermott may need to do the same on Monday against the Sun Devils.

Matt DeMarinis is joined by former Bluejay Tyler Clement as they break down the game and help try go figure out what happens next with the Jays.
