The Creighton men’s basketball team opened up play on Monday afternoon in the Maui Invitational. After committing 13 turnovers in the first half, the Jays made adjustments and refused to turn it over in the second half to get the 76-65 victory over the Red Raiders.
All five starters for the Jays finished in double-figures with Arthur Kaluma leading the way with 18 points, keeping Texas Tech off balance throughout the game. Baylor Scheierman earned a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Creighton will take on Arkansas on Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m.
