The Creighton 2016-17 sports season started off with a lot of news on Wednesday. We hope you are ready because we sure are. We are excited to cover another great year of Creighton sports and things have already started off fast and furious. To get you caught up on things, we have compiled a few Bluejay Bytes to share.
Kyle Korver and Doug McDermott are coming back to the CenturyLink Center as the Atlanta Hawks and Chicago Bulls play an NBA exhibition game on October 20th. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Saturday morning, but Creighton season ticket holders get to take part in a presale on Thursday.
Here is what is going on in the Twitterverse:
The Creighton women’s soccer team kicked off the season with two-a-days. WBR’s Matt DeMarinis, as always was there to help cover their start.

The team has a lot of new faces this season
There is a lot of homework to be done on this group with 16 new faces added to the mix. Should be some heated position battles in fall camp.

This is going to be my 10th year running the Creighton volleyball scoreboard. A decade! Double the longest I’ve ever done any other job.
