October 18, 1930 — Creighton’s football team loses to Marquette, 19-0.

1930 would prove to be a frustrating one for new head coach Arthur R. Stark. His Bluejays won their first game, a 13-0 shutout against St. Mary’s College, but would lose their last seven to end the season. That dubious streak included dropping a mid-October matchup against fellow Jesuit school Marquette.
