November 12, 2000 — Creighton beats Bradley 2-1 in 4 overtimes to win the MVC Men’s Soccer Tournament and advance to the NCAA Tournament.
Brian Mullan scored the equalizing goal in the second half after Bradley lit the scoreboard first, and then the senior sent Creighton to its ninth straight NCAA Tournament with a goal off a corner kick in the fourth overtime period.
Mullan and the Bluejays kept winning, recording four straight road wins en route to the College Cup championship match.
