Today in Bluejay History (11/17)

November 17, 2002 — Creighton posts its second biggest blowout in men’s basketball history, drubbing Texas-Arlington 106-50.

In the first game of four the Bluejays would play en route to the Guardian Classic championship, Kyle Korver was a perfect 6-6 from 3-point range and led four Bluejays in double figures. The Jays shot 59% from the field and 60% from 3-point range on the evening.

During the game, Korver set the Creighton all-time mark for career 3-pointers. He’d continue firing from long range all season long.
