November 7, 1993 — The #1 Creighton Bluejays complete a perfect regular season and MVC tournament with a 2-0 win against Tulsa, securing their second straight MVC tournament title.
The Bluejays began the season ranked #4 and didn’t lose a match through their first 19 games. But the amazing season would come to an unfortunate end early in the NCAA Tournament, where the Air Force Falcons forced a four-overtime match in Omaha and defeated the Bluejays 2-1 to end CU’s national title hopes.
