Today in Bluejay History (11/9)

November 9, 2007 — The P’Allen Stinnett era officially begins, as the true freshman leads a second-half comeback against DePaul in front of the largest season-opening crowd in Creighton history.

More than 16,100 Bluejays fans packed into the Qwest Center to watch Stinnett score 23 points in 26 minutes coming off the bench. And another newcomer, Chad Millard, got the start for the Jays, adding 15 points and 5 rebounds in what is his highest scoring game in a Creighton uniform through his first two seasons on the Hilltop.
