December 11, 2005 — The Bluejays punish the Huskers by 26 points, 70-44.

Creighton recorded its seventh straight win against Nebraska, posting the second-largest margin of victory ever against NU.

Despite dressing just 9 players and playing without star Nate Funk, the Bluejays forced an astounding 31 turnovers and limited the Huskers to just 11 points in the first half. Johnny Mathies outscored NU by himself in the first 20 minutes (12-11).

Mathies scored 29 points, Nick Porter added 13 points and 6 rebounds, and Dane Watts missed a double-double by just one point (9 points, 12 rebounds).
