Today in Bluejay History (12/30)

December 30, 1993 — Creighton’s women’s basketball team wins by the largest margin in school history.

The Bluejays hosted Delaware a few days before 1994 started. The Blue Hens no doubt wanted the New Year to start at halftime, as Creighton crushed the visitors 106-44. The 62-point margin of victory is the largest in Creighton’s history.

The 1993-1994 Creighton Bluejays went 14-2 in MVC play and beat Bowling Green in the first round of the NCAA Tournament before losing to Texas Tech in the second round.
