December 9, 1992 — Creighton’s women’s basketball team defeats Missouri 79-65 in overtime.
The Bluejays traveled to Columbia and picked up their fourth straight win to start the season. In addition to visiting the Tigers, Creighton’s non-conference schedule included games at Iowa State, Texas, Oklahoma State, Kansas, and at home against Nebraska.
Still, the Jays would be left out of the NCAA Tournament at the end of a season that saw them finish 20-8 and finish tied for second in the MVC.
