January 7, 1933 — Creighton beats Kentucky 34-22.

With Adolph Rupp at the helm, Kentucky would go 21-3 and win the Helms National Championship in the 1932-1933 season. One of the Wildcats’ 3 losses would come in Omaha at the hands of the Creighton Bluejays. One night before, Kentucky beat Creighton 32-26.

The Jays would travel to Lexington in February 1935 and lose twice to the Wildcats, and then split two games with UK in February 1936. Creighton wouldn’t beat UK again until December 1940, when the Jays defeated the ‘Cats 54-45.
