January 8, 2004 — Laura Spanheimer records just the second triple-double in Creighton Bluejays history against Indiana State.

Spanheimer scored 12 points, dished 11 assists, and grabbed 10 rebounds in 33 minutes of play as the Bluejays beat the Sycamores 87-69.

Spanheimer would help lead the Bluejays to the NIT Championship, averaging 13.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3 assists per game in a team-high 36 minutes per contest.

The only other triple-double in CU history belongs to Becky Flynn, who posted 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists against Missouri in 1994.
