The Bluejays belted 13 hits and push 18 runs across the plate against SLU, the second highest single-game total in Creighton history. Only two other times — in 1977 against Peru State and 1978 against Nebraska Wesleyan — did the Jays put 18 runs on the scoreboard.
The school record for most runs in a game? That would be the 20 tallies Creighton scored in February 2000 against the College of Saint Mary.
