March 19, 2004 — The Creighton women’s basketball team begins a run to the WNIT Championship.
Five Bluejays scored in double figures, led by Christy Neneman’s 16 points, as Creighton traveled to Colorado State and beat the Rams 79-68. The win would be the first of five straight victories for the Jays, who would also beat Washington, Oregon State, Richmond, and UNLV en route to the WNIT title.
