March 26, 2004 — Steve Grasley turns in a masterful performance on the mound against Missouri State.
Grasley pitched a 10-inning, complete game shutout against the Bears, striking out 12 while allowing just 3 hits. Grasley’s outstanding effort came in the Valley opener for the Bluejays, who would rebound from a 14-17 conference record in 2003 with a 22-9 MVC record in Ed Servais’ first season as head coach.
