March 8, 1984 — Benoit Benjamin blocks a Creighton MVC Tournament single-game record 10 shots against Illinois State.
Benjamin had each of the Bluejays’ 10 blocked shots against the Redbirds, which also set a single-game team record for most swats in one MVC Tournament game. Benjamin’s performance against ISU was the second of three times in his Creighton career he would block 10 shots, and he owns each of the top single-game marks in CU hoops history (including a school-record 12 blocks in one game).
