Today in Bluejay History (5/18)

May 18, 2007 — Creighton strikes out 12 times but still steals a 3-2 win against Missouri State.

One week after setting a school record by not striking out in a full 9-inning game, the Bluejays struck out a dozen times against the Bears. All 12 Ks came against MSU’s Scot Carroll, who was the tough-luck loser. Zak Moore won the game for the Bluejays, pitching 6.1 innings of 7-hit, 2-run baseball.
