August 19, 2008 — Creighton soccer players Byron Dacy and Andrei Gotsmanov are named to the Missouri Athletic Club Hermann Trophy Watch List. The list serves as a preseason mention of the projected most valuable players in collegiate soccer around the country.
Gotsmanov would go on to lead the 2008 Bluejay team in points (24) and goals scored (10), including 3 game-winner scores. He earned first team All-American honors for his play as a senior, and was a semifinalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy.
Dacy is a senior on this year’s team, and he was named to the Hermann Trophy Watch List for a record fourth time. Read about it here.
