In Columbus, Ohio, the #6 men’s team hands #9 Ohio State a 3-0 shutout in exhibition play. Jeff Thayer, Andrew Duran, and Byron Dacy tally goals for Bob Warming’s club, and Brian Holt and Nick Goldreich each play shutout halves in goal for the the Jays.
Back at Morrison Stadium, Bruce Erickson’s women’s team pulls out a 3-2 win against South Dakota State in double overtime, thanks to a goal in the 105th minute by freshman Macy Mauer.
