September 18, 1990 — Creighton’s women’s soccer team scores 10 goals in a 10-nil shutout of Benedictine College.
At the time, the 10 goal outburst was second in school history only to an 11-goal outburst the previous season against Coe College. And coming into 2009, the Jays had only scored 10 or more goals two more times: 11 vs. Western Illinois in 1997, and 10 against Northern Iowa in 2000.
