Wichita State (6-2) vs. Alabama A&M (6-3)

Koch Arena; Wichita, KS

7:00 CT

Wichita is in a bit of an easy stretch of their schedule right now, as they are coming off a win over Nicholls State 68-50 and will play host to Alabama A&M tonight.  There was a bit of history in the win over Nicholls State as J.T. Durley became only the 39th player in Shocker history to reach 1,000 points.

Nicholls State, entering tonight after a loss to Tennessee State 68-74, will bring a .500 record and little chance to knock off WSU at home.  The Shockers will be faster, more athletic, and in great shape tonight.  These stretches of easier games always seem to help right before the conference season, and with WSU favored to win it all, could be trouble for the rest of the valley.
