North Dakota State(4-6) @ Wichita State (10-1)

Koch Arena

Wichita, KS 7:05 CT

Wichita State was able to improve their winning streak to eight games on Saturday night as they took out the then 16 rated and undefeated  Red Raiders of Texas Tech.  With a comfortable lead at half time, the Shockers were able to hold off a second half surge from TT and survive infront of a sold out Koch Arena 85-83.

This was a huge win for a program that many, including myself, thought was about to take the corner on becoming a breakout program.  Coach Marshall has his team playing with toughness and fire and they are playing all 40 minutes of games.  The Shockers will host North Dakota State this evening, and I really hope they are over any big game hangover they may have from Saturday.  I have seen to many times in my years of watching college basketball, a team gets that solid win and then drops one that they have no business dropping.  I doubt that Gregg will allow his team to have a mental lapse and will have them focused for tonights game.
