Texas Southern (3-5) @ Wichita State (5-1)

Wichita, KS 7:05 CT

Texas Southern is in a bit of a slump.  They are having a tough start to their season and are holding onto a 3-5 record, with the last defeat coming by way of the Cincinnati Bearcats 94-57.  The Tigers are just a bit down right now.  So what better for this group than a Shocker team that seems to be clicking early on.

The Shockers will host their second home game in a row as they are coming off an 87-52 pounding of Alcorn State.  Five Shockers were able to put up double figures in the scoring column, and were lead by Aaron Ellis with 14.  Ever since the loss to Pittsburgh, the Shockers have been playing some good basketball, and have shown the ability to share the scoring load.  This team doesn’t show many signs of slowing down, and it certainly won’t happen tonight against the Tigers.
