Air Force (4-1) vs. Evansville (3-2)

Clune Arena; Colorado Springs, CO

2:05 PM CST

Evansville is back on the road again.  After winning on the road at Butler they are heading west to take on Air Force.  Against the Bulldogs, a Denver Holmes 3-pointer with 17 seconds left was the difference in the game.  The teams exchanged free throws in the remaining seconds and the Purple Aces walk out with a victory.  Kenny Harris had 17 for the Purple Aces in a team high 37 minutes.

The Falcons are 4-1 early in the season.  Their lone defeat came at the hands of Colorado College, a Division III school, 60-57 in overtime.  Having played an easy schedule to date, Evansville may be their toughest game of the season to date.  The Falcons will need to face tough competition in preparation for the strong conference opponents they will face.  The Purples Aces are a trend in the right direction compared to schools like Colorado College.
