Wichita State (15-2,4-1) @ Indiana State (11-5,3-2)

TV:  Cox-Kansas and WTWO

Coming off an impressive win over Creighton on Saturday, the Shockers will look to continue their success when they travel to Indiana State tonight for a 6 pm tip in the Hullman Center.  Wichita was able to come out early with some explosive plays and accurate shooting that buried the Jays early.  With a little over 11 minutes remaining in the game, the Shockers built their lead to 12 and would never let it get below 10 from that point on.  T

Indiana State should be a similar game for WSU, as they are a similar team to Creighton that they have struggled as of late in conference play.  The Sycamores were able to take care of business against a fellow struggling opponent in Evansville 61-55.  This one should be a easy stop for the Shockers before their visit to Omaha, where there will be some hungry Jays looking for revenge.

Well, this one should be interesting.  You have an Evansville team that will be looking to get their first win in the Valley this season.  They have played a few teams to the wire this season, including Butler and a Creighton team that was also heavily favored in that game.  Evansville just dosen’t seem to have the players or personell to play on a consistent basis.  They will be coming off a loss to Indiana State 61-55 and could be in a world of hurt tonight in normal.

Illinois State is a bit embarrassed by the whopping they took from UNI on national television over the weekend.  They fell to the Panthers 44-59, but the game wasn’t even really that close if you actually watched it.  The Redbirds will be hungry to show that the UNI game was a bit of a hiccup in what was looking to be a successful season.  The sad part, is they will be taking their frustrations out on Evansville tonight.  This one could get ugly.
