Wichita State (1-1) vs. Chaminade (3-1)

Lahaina Center; Maui, HI

1 pm CT ESPN2

The Shockers traveled down to Hawii to face UCON in the Maui Invitational yesterday, and they gave the Huskies all they could handle.  However, once again, Gregg Marshall was not able to close the game out.  Toure Murry gave his best while providing a team high 19 points.  That 19 was nothing comared to the 29 second half points scored by UCONN’s Kembe Walker who finished with 31.

The Shockers will now play host school Chaminade, who game Michigan State all they could handle yesterday as well.  I may just be thinking out loud here, but it seems to me when you make the trip to Hawaii, you don’t really want to be playing Chaminade.  Well, maybe Gregg will be able to close this one out.

Southern Illinois (1-2) vs. Charleston Southern (2-2)

SIU Arena; Carbondale, IL

Chicago Invitational Challenge

The Salukis picked up their first win of the season over the weekend in the Chicago Invitational Challenge.  Kendal Brown-Surles led SIU with 15 points and Gene Teague followed up with 13 points in a 72-65 win over Austin Peay.  The Salukis are looking to build momentum to take with them to Chicago for the conclusion of this tournament.

The Buccaneears from the Big South Conference are coming off an 82-71 against Richmond.  Jarmaco Warren leads the team in scoring at 16.5 ppg.  Also in double figures is Sheldron Strickland at 11 ppg.

Missouri State (3-2) vs. Pacific (4-1)

JQH Arena; Springfield, MO
