There’s a chill in the air, and you’ve pulled your heavy coat out of storage. Department stores are changing their displays. The Huskers’ BCS hopes have vanished. Starbucks is already serving Christmas-flavored lattes, I think. This can only mean one thing: BASKETBALL SEASON IS COMING.
In celebration, we’re pleased to announce the opening of the WBR’s inaugural uniform design contest.
Your uniform can include nearly anything you want: Camouflage! Argyle! The new logo! The old logo! Tom Shatel’s face! The world is your oyster. You could also come up with a new mascot for Creighton, as long as it’s creative.
You can use any format you want: Photoshop, MS Paint, hand-drawn, etc. All of these formats are considered equal, so don’t feel disadvantaged if you hand-draw your design. Here’s a link to one blank template, but feel free to branch out. Include a brief description, if you feel one is necessary.
Send your best ideas to WBRcontests@gmail.com, and we’ll publish our favorites on Monday, Nov. 4. There’ll be a few days of voting, and the contest winner will be announced on Friday, Nov. 8 – the date of Creighton’s home opener.
The winner of the contest will receive a WBR PRIZE PACK! which includes hearty congratulations, high-fives from your family, and regional fame for a day or two.
