The Creighton men’s soccer team came out against a tough SIU-Edwardsville team and left the Morrison Stadium fans with a 1-0 victory. However, there was some drama in the match that was decided in the second overtime.
Andrew Ribeiro scored the winning goal with 4:07 left in double overtime with a header from a great pass by Jose Ribas. While the team as a whole may not have looked as sharp in the final third of the match, a victory is a victory.
