Sunday afternoon, the Creighton women continued their remarkable run with a 67-60 win over St. John’s on Senior Day. Playing in her final home game, Marissa Janning scored 20 points with six rebounds and six assists as the Jays improved to 20-6 (14-2 in Big East play). Their RPI now stands at #16 according to Warren Nolan.
Fellow senior MC McGrory, whose career officially ended in December following multiple concussions, made a quick comeback of sorts by starting the game and playing the first three minutes. McGrory grabbed a rebound in her short stint on the floor, then exited to a curtain call moments later.

Their fourth senior, Lauren Works, was the recipient of this steal from Janning that clinched the win:
