October 24, 2003 — Bob Warming’s men’s soccer team beats #22 Bradley 1-0.

The Creighton Bluejays men’s soccer team started the 2003 season ranked #8 in the country, but early season losses to Loyola Marymount, UNLV, and Brown caused the Bluejays to slip from the rankings.

Meanwhile, the Bradley Braves brought a top 25 ranking into a late October match in Omaha, one in which freshman Michael Kraus scored in the first half for the match’s only goal.

The Jays would lose their final match of the regular season and the bow out of the MVC tournament early, but Creighton still secured an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Bluejays took advantage, beating UMKC, San Diego, and Virginia before losing a heartbreaking match to St. John’s.
