January 12, 1977 — Randy Eccker records his first of two 12-assist games … in the same week!
During a 90-85 road win at Bradley, Eccker dished a dozen assists, good for the 4th highest single-game total in Creighton history. Then, just a few days later in a 100-83 road win at Gonzaga, Eccker did it again.
Eccker is 3rd on Creighton’s all-time assist list (since 1970-1971), with 458. He trails Ralph Bobik (549) and Ryan Sears (570).
