November 21, 1992 — After winning the MVC Tournament for the first time under Bob Warming, the #2 Creighton Bluejays lose to #14 SMU 1-0 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
The Bluejays entered the NCAA Tournament 14-2-1 and undefeated for nearly two months. Their reward? Hosting the Mustangs, who promptly handed Warming’s first Creighton NCAA Tournament team a 1-0 loss.
