November 28, 2004 — Creighton’s upset bid falls short against #18 Minnesota.

Down by 15 at the half after shooting just 31% from the field, and losing by 24 with 14 minutes to play in the game, Angie Janis and the Bluejays battled back and cut the margin to 6 with 30 seconds left. Despite shooting 62% in the second half, the Jays couldn’t withstand fiver Gophers in double figures.

Janis led the Bluejays with 19 points and 7 rebounds.
