Today in Bluejay History (4/1)

April 1, 2000 — Creighton raps 18 hits against Wichita State.

The Bluejays softball team fell just a few hits short of setting the all-time school record, but the 18 hits was good enough to tie for the third-best single-game effort (CU also collected 18 hits against Bellevue in 1999). The all-time mark occurred in April 2002, when the Bluejays bashed 22 hits against Drake.
