September 11, 2004 — The Creighton volleyball team makes the most of a trip to Columbia, Missouri, winning the Quality Inn Tiger Invitational with a Saturday sweep of Mississippi State and Arkansas State.
After winning their first match of the weekend, 3-1 vs. host Missouri (31-29, 16-30, 30-26, 30-28), Kirsten Bernthal Booth’s Bluejays failed to lose a set in sweeps over the Bulldogs (30-20, 30-22, 30-15) and the Red Wolves (37-35, 30-16, 32-30).
