The 2003-2004 Creighton women’s basketball team played — and lost — four games against ranked opponents, including a 94-60 loss at Kansas State on this day.
The competition would prove critical for the long-term success of the season, though, as Flanery’s team would win five straight games in the Women’s NIT to become the champions of the postseason tournament.
